Inspiration
Hello everyone...Genny here with a little inspiration. I had bought myself a notebook to keep track of my bills and the whole thought was so depressing that I just had to decorate it. I began by covering the front of the journal with a piece of black card and stencilled red bubbles all over it.I had some chipboard letters which spelled bills and painted them red with acrylic and then glued them to the edge.I then added some red glitter rope to the left hand side. I then platted some more of the rope to make a bookmark. I attached it to the metal binding and used a red fabric skull to the bottom. I finally added this fabulous piece of artwork..the voodoo king from SLS. I coloured him with my promarkers, cut him out and glued him in place. He look exactly like I feel whenever I have to pay a bill...lol. I am also going to cover the whole front with a piece of adhesive acetate..so that it will be a wipe clean book. I hope that you all like it and will think about covering your own notebooks. So until next time..take care and happy crafting.

EXTERMINATE!!!!
Hi Everyone!
Today I am sharing a new image for this month - "Fantasy Angry Robot" - available in the SLS Lines Store - perfect for a male themed card!
I've altered a 6 x 4 index card - the background was a mop up card for some excess paint and bits of book page. I added the coloured texture paste through a stencil and some cement coloured embossing powder to the edge of the card. I also found some left over Silhouette cut outs from other projects that matched the mechanical theme and embossed them with the cement look powder. I added the little metal "nuts" - amazing what is in my craft cupboard - and then the computer generated wording and copic coloured and fussy cut robot to finish!!
You know it's always hard to create "make" themed projects but Sal has a great lot of digis and clip art to choose from in her store so make sure you check out the website!!

What's New Pussycat???
Hi Everyone
Today I am sharing a set of 3 altered 6 x 4 index cards using digis from the Cute House Cat Set available at the SLS Lines Store!!!!
My mixed media cards have gelli print backgrounds - printed directly onto the lined index card,
I also did some stamping with some leaf/branches and circles (stamps from Dylusions) and I added some extra colour with pastels.
Then I added texture paste through stencils, some torn washi tape and drew a border with a fine black marker.
To finish up I added the fussy cut kitties and computer generated wording!
As you can see the cats were printed onto old book pages and coloured with pastel pencils - love the effect and you will have seen earlier in the month DT Member Susan printed her image on a page and coloured - so effective! And Corrie Herriman posted at Facebook a dog postcard in which she had stamped the dog onto a book page and cut out - it was such a great look - of course I have done it with cats but I got the inspiration from her!!
I am so happy with how these came out!!!
Hope you feel inspired to pop over to the store and grab some images to try this yourself!!

Inspiration Post.....Genny
Hello everyone...Genny here. For my inspiration post today. I decided to work with this skull again. I just love them and am always finding different ways to use them. For the one above, I coloured it with my promarkers. I then used it to make a feature on a new sign for my cottage. I had a piece of slate and painted orange flowers around the edge and placed this skull in the bottom left corner. I then covered the whole lot with some exterior Modge Podge several times. It now sits outside my cottage and has created quite a stir. I think that there may be several cottages with a candy skull very soon..lol.
I was intending to stop there but then I decided ton see if it was possible to papercut the same skull...so I did. I took the black and white image and cut out lots of the plain paper. I was also careful to leave a small white area around the whole skull to give it some definition after cutting so much out. I then glued the papercut onto a pink, lilac and blue background paper which I had made using my H2Os. I finally mounted the whole thing onto a piece of black.
There is no doubt that I will be finding other ways to use these skulls. I am aiming to make a panel to decorate my front door and that may well be a collection of skulls. I will share it with you all as soon as I've finished it.
I hope that you will come and join in the new challenge that is due to begin here on the blog tomorrow. The rest of the team has created some wonderful makes. so I hope that you will pop over and join in the fun.So until next time..take care and happy crafting.

Marie-Antoinette is in the "galerie des glaces"...
... or she is not !
Hi everyone,
This is Titbelsoeur today sharing a gothic Marie-Antoinette with you
The background was "gelli-plated" with black acrylic paint, I used foam stamps from my stash to add texture. And I used a page of a dictionary that I had "resist gelli-plated" to fill some frames.
The image is colored with Promarkers, I have deliberately colored the lady with grey and lilac to emphasize her macabre style.
Have a great crafting day !

Whimsical house by Titbelsoeur
Hi Everyone,
Here is my first inspirational post with the SLS Lines DT, I am so excited to be part of this team !
I make a lot of art journaling, and I have chosen to make the background of this page quite similar as the one I made for the March Challenge #18 - Springtime (you MUST participate in it).
To make it, I have used Distress ink on a cut-n-dry foam through hand-made masks to make the clouds and the trees.
And I have used Promarker pens to color this cute and whimsical house available in the Etsy store SLS Lines.
I like to use multiple media like pens, ink, paint... to color my AJ pages.
The birds are stamps from my stash.

Beach Inspiration
Hello everyone!
Ovedia Therese is dropping by with a project to share with you.
Ovedia Therese is dropping by with a project to share with you.
This is the SLS LINES digital stamp I have used.
My mother needed a card for a friend of my parents who lives in Egypt.
I found this motif perfect
and apparently so did the recipient of the card.
He actually thought the motiv looked a little bit like him.
I have used Bazzill and Pion designs Shoreline Treasures.
This diecut combo is Spellbinders and La-La Land
and I tend to use it a lot on my projects.
The seashells are picket on the beach in Egypt.

Love Yourself...........
Hi Everyone
Well yet again I have another "nude" image to promote for SLS Lines!!! Now you can find the "nude" images in the Colouring Book/Adult part of the SLS Lines Etsy Store - a few are available as individual designs but this one I am using today - this beautiful curvaceous woman - is only available as part of a colouring book. You never know maybe if you "petition" SLS Lines she might come up as an individual image to purchase!!!!
Now you may know because I have used and mentioned before that the SLS Lines store also sells patterned digital papers - which I love - and the background of this journal page is from the pack of "Wood Digital Paper with Rustic Texture" - a beautiful range to use as background papers or layers or for an old aged wood look to your creations!
I scraped some Gesso over the paper background and added some soft pink & green Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays plus some washi tape and sprayed muslin for added texture to mount the image, Tim Holtz ticket, butterfly and scrabble letters on.
I'm really happy with this page.
Make sure you check out our current challenge and of course the Etsy Store for all the amazing designs, patterned papers and collage images!
Happy crafting!

Little Ray of Sunshine......
Hi Everyone
Sharon here today sharing an inspiration creation!
I've made a journal page with a great quirky guy from the store:
What a fun image! You really must check out the store for the great quirky and savvy "male" images - perfect for creating cards and things for the guy in your life!
My page background is a Tim Holtz stencil "Rays" - I was using this stencil for something else and starting blotting the excess ink spray onto this clean journal page and then I decided to use it with this great image and add the wording "I'm a little ray of sunshine" with stamped letters, a bit of sticky mesh and some washi tape!
Happy crafting!
