Hi Everyone
I'm Sharon and I'm Guest Designing here at SLS Lines for a few months and this is my first post here!
I just love the range of quirky digis available at the SLS Lines Etsy Store - I like things that are not so "normal" LOL so Sal's images are absolutely perfect for me & I am so looking forward to creating & sharing here!
Today I'm sharing a tag made using "Goth Girl with Heart Balloons" click here to be taken to the direct link at the store. As you can see I have only printed part of the image on my tag - I love the effect!
This tag is really quite quick to make - good for when you want to create something in a hurry that still looks effective and complicated!!
Here's some quick instructions for you - and I'd love to see your creations if you decide to have a go - leave me a link in the comments section here and I'll "pop over" and leave you a comment on how fantastic it looks!!
I started with a scrap piece of card and cut it to a tag shape - punched a hole at the top and then coloured it with Distress Stains and a tiny bit of acrylic paint. Put your stains and paint on a mat or I use alfoil sometimes and drag your tag through the colour, keep lifting & dabbing until the whole tag is coloured and then let dry. Next simply print part of the whole of your image onto the tag. I decided to add some "highlight" colour with Copic Markers to the eyes, lips and basic hair outline plus a bit of sparkle for her eyeshadow! The black flower vine is simply a rub on strip - looks effective! Then I added some of my gyprock sticky mesh which a "tradie" left at our house after some renovation work and it's now one of my favourite "add ons". Sponge the edges with distress ink, add some Distress Stain dyed ribbon to the top. I found a little cross sticker which I added to her necklace. There we go all done in record time!
Hope you like this and feel "inspired" to get creating!
See you all again next month and thanks to Sal & the SLS "Team" for having me!
Sharon :)

First Post from Susan R!
Hi! Susan R here...
I was absolutely delighted to be invited to join the Design Team of SLSLines
and here is my first Inspiration!!
I thought the best way to introduce myself was show you some of the things I like to do...
First, I was so pleased to use Goth Girl with Heart Balloons.
I printed her out in different sizes:
I like to use Promarkers and colour schemes involving black, white, greys and one other colour.
Here the added colour is pink!
I like to make ATC's so here is Goth Girl on an ATC.
I also like fancy folds so here is Goth Girl on a twisted easel.
Both cards involve matting and layering DP from my stash.
For the easel card I have used oval and rectangular nesting dies
and TH Spun Sugar Distress Ink to emphasise the shapes.
The sentiment is a stamp I have from Little Claire.
I have added ribbon and brads again from my stash...
Find more details on my blog
Do remember that the Portraits Challenge is still open
and we would love to see your creations there!
Happy Crafting!

Maureen's Inspiration for January
Afternoon crafty peeps! It's my turn to share some inspiration with you here on the SLS Lines blog. Today I have used the Cute Girl with Flower Basket image from the SLS Lines Etsy Shop here.
I have coloured her with promarkers and some black pencil for depth. My DP, candi and matching sentiment are the brand new 'Velvet Plum' Collection at Craftwork Cards - this has become my most favourite paper kit ever! The layered flowers were all cut from purple pearlescent paper from Silhouette store files on my Cameo.
Remember the current challenge at SLS Lines is 'Portraits' and we'd love to see you joining in!
Thanks for looking!

Bettina's flower girl inspiration
Hello all. Bettina here today and I have a cute little project to show you today. I've gone ahead and made a shaped card with this cute little flower girl that you can find here. I've chosen warm autumn colours for her, as I think that shows her off really pretty. I've teamed her up with Tim Holtz butterfly die as this image is kinda summery as well and it suits the card. She's coloured with my promarkers. Hope you'll like it.
and a little closer for a look
Thanks for peeking. Have a lovely day!!

Seeking new Design Team members!
Hi Everyone! I'm seeking a few new members for our fun design team. SLSlines stamps are all handdrawn by me, Sal Scheibe. I like to make stamps that are a little bit out of the norm and not so focused on fairies (although I do make fairies!) and other cute things. My stamps tend to veer into low brow silliness and geeky characters. I love drawing zombies, goth girls, Day of the Dead, girls in glasses, awkward men and cute monsters. If this is the sort of style that interests you, then I sure hope you apply for our little design team!
Below are some stamp samples and the team requirements. If interested, please see the directions below.
Requirements:
- Have an active blog and an account Facebook.
- Be able to create 3 creations a month: 1 creation for an "Inspiration" post, 1 creation for our monthly challenge and 1 creation for New Releases.
- Post your creations 2 days before date planned by the publication on our blog, in the adequate album of our group DT.
- Be capable of taking beautiful photos of your creations.
- Be capable of awesome coloring and fun, stylish design.
- Promote the shop on Facebook and other social networks if possible.
- Be able to comment on the creations of our participants.
What we offer you:
- A badge to be proudly shared on your blog.
- Images to illustrate the products of the shop.
- An enthusiastic group!
- New releases images for your projects.
If you are interested, this is what we ask you:
- Write a small word about this new blog and about the call DT on your blog.
- Share the banner of the blog on your blog with a direct link to here.
- To be a follower of this blog.

Valentine's Day Cute Girl - Crafting Vicky
Hello everyone! I'm here to share with you a little page from a calendar that I made with the great image Valentine's day cute girl. I thought it would be totally perfect for the month of February.
I'm pretty happy because I'm sharing something different from a card... I don't do that a lot.
And here's a closer look at the great digi that I colored with my copics and then fussy cut.
So what do you think?!? Is that a fun make?! If you want more details on the making of this calendar please come and check out my blog.
Hope you have liked my inspiration for you go and check out the fabulous digis in the store.
Have a great Sunday everyone!
Hugs
