Lounging Queen in a Chair

I made a card using Lounging Queen in a Chair
I tend to go a little crazy when colouring
but this time I wanted to go a little more safe and classy.

I have coloured with my Copics.
Still have a some areas that I need to practice more
but am really pleased with how this project turned out.

So Many Books, So Little Time

I thought I would show you my card I made with one of the great images from SLS Lines for my son who just loves books.  I can see so many possibilities with this image.

EXTERMINATE!!!!

Hi Everyone!

Today I am sharing a new image for this month - "Fantasy Angry Robot" - available in the SLS Lines Store - perfect for a male themed card!

I've altered a 6 x 4 index card - the background was a mop up card for some excess paint and bits of book page. I added the coloured texture paste through a stencil and some cement coloured embossing powder to the edge of the card. I also found some left over Silhouette cut outs from other projects that matched the mechanical theme and embossed them with the cement look powder. I added the little metal "nuts" - amazing what is in my craft cupboard - and then the computer generated wording and copic coloured and fussy cut robot to finish!!

You know it's always hard to create "make" themed projects but Sal has a great lot of digis and clip art to choose from in her store so make sure you check out the website!!

The Knit Master

Here's an awesome image from SLS Lines, if you like her digi stamps, please drop by her store and grab them quickly as she will stop making digis this month!!  Oh no!  I was so saddened by that as I just love her images.  This fun gal is named The Knit Master.
Check out this and the other fun images at her store, she also has some fun coloring books and clipart sets available.

Rule the World

Hi Susan R here!

Sal has drawn lots of super images for September.
I have decided to use three of them on ATCs and this post shows you the first...

This image 'Rule The World' made me think of the paralympic games!

I coloured it with Promarkers and cut it out.
But then I added it to an ATC to go in my Autumnal/Spidery Mini Journal
 - for more details please take a look on my blog!

Men might rule the world - but there are an awful lot more spiders...

Enjoy Dahlia Flowers

I love this image from SLS Lines called  Dahlia Flowers Bouquet and decided to make a card using it.  Flower cards can be used for many occasions and always nice to have on hand.

The image was coloured with Copic Markers, a gell and glitter pen then  die cut and layered over several layers of pattern paper. To complete the card I added a couple of brads, one with a sentiment on it.

Be sure to check out the stamps at SLS Lines as Sal will be discontinuing her stamps very soon.  We are sorry to see her go, so be sure to grab the stamps you love from her store before they are gone forever.

What's New Pussycat???

Hi Everyone

Today I am sharing a set of 3 altered 6 x 4 index cards using digis from the Cute House Cat Set available at the SLS Lines Store!!!!
My mixed media cards have gelli print backgrounds - printed directly onto the lined index card,

I also did some stamping with some leaf/branches and circles (stamps from Dylusions) and I added some extra colour with pastels.

Then I added texture paste through stencils, some torn washi tape and drew a border with a fine black marker.

To finish up I added the fussy cut kitties and computer generated wording!

As you can see the cats were printed onto old book pages and coloured with pastel pencils - love the effect and you will have seen earlier in the month DT Member Susan printed her image on a page and coloured - so effective! And Corrie Herriman posted at Facebook a dog postcard in which she had stamped the dog onto a book page and cut out - it was such a great look - of course I have done it with cats but I got the inspiration from her!!

I am so happy with how these came out!!!

Hope you feel inspired to pop over to the store and grab some images to try this yourself!!
