Inspiration from Susan R

Just a little inspiration from me today!!

I have used Happy Cat Big Grin coloured with Promarkers and cut out to make an ATC:
I thought this was a Cheshire Cat sort of cat so this is one of my Alice series ATCs.

The background is a distress ink background trimmed and matted onto snippets of purple and red card. I printed the sentiment from Alice in Wonderland on my computer.

I made this as a DT make at Crafting from the Heart which is being sponsored by SLS this week...

Inspiration from Susan R

Did you look at the New Releases yesterday?
If not please scroll down to look at the fabulous makes...

I made this Birthday card for my nephew.

I  combined the image in Serif Craft Artist 2 with some background papers from
- and added some blue to the image.

I used this in the same way to make an ATC -
by printing it small and cutting around the frame.

I just used scraps for the layers of the background and then a few earring bits as embellishments!

Tit's amazing page looks like a fiery backdrop at a true rock concert!

Judy has a perfect musical background for her creation!

Susan has added some complimentary guitars to her rock n roll card!

Genny has created a background that looks like a multi-coloured light shining from behind - great effect!

And I've altered an index card and gone with a "heavy metal" rocker feel with black and red!

Inspiration from Susan R

Hi Susan R here

I am sharing a mixed media tag with you today...

The image I have used is Rainbow with Fluffy clouds,
coloured with Promarkers and with red Stickles on the hearts.

Rainbow with Fluffy Heart Clouds

My tag started with a piece of dark red card
matted with a piece of canvas paper coloured with
Ken Oliver Color Burst water colours.

Next I added the image with a die-cut red card frame.

I covered the whole lot with a piece of lime green mesh
and added ribbon through a punched hole at the top.

Finally I added some handmade fabric buttons sourced in India!

Happy Crafting!!
