Why So Serious?

Hi everyone, Judy here. This is my inspirational art journal page for May.  Had lots of fun playing in my art journal book. The background of my page is a gelli print that I added some stenciled circles to.

The image I used from SLS Lines is one of my favourites called  Mad Court Jestor and can be found in the SLS Lines Esty shop here. I coloured my image with Copics and a charcoal pencil.  I used molding paste and a stencil around the image.  The molding paste was coloured gold using PanPastels.  I used a stencil for the  large wording and a Dymo for the "Have Fun".

Don't forget out current  Halloween challenge, there is still time to join the fun. Remember there is a new challenge on the 20th of every month.

Inspiration from Susan R

Hi Susan R here

Just a reminder that Challenge #19 is still running...
"Half'o'ween"
as it's halfway to Halloween!

My original make used this pumpkin image Pumpkin Patch and I used it to make an easel card.

I was inspired by several poems I saw on the internet and put these lines together...

Anyway - I have now made a couple of ATCs...using snippets of card from my stash, some SU stamps and Stazon, some bat confetti and a little doodling with a fineliner.

This first one uses the same pumpkin image from SLSLines, coloured with Promarkers -

My second ATC  shows what happens after eating the pumpkin pie...

This image is Rainbow barf

Sal has now set up a proper website for her images (although the etsy with still be open) Find all her images here

Hope to see your makes in the challenge!

Happy Crafting!!

Marie-Antoinette is in the "galerie des glaces"...

... or she is not !

Hi everyone,
This is Titbelsoeur today sharing a gothic Marie-Antoinette with you

Digital timbre goth Marie Antoinette avec des crânes et des fleurs dans la ruche cheveux digistamp et coloriage de lignes de SLS

The background was "gelli-plated" with black acrylic paint, I used foam stamps from my stash to add texture. And I used a page of a dictionary that I had "resist gelli-plated" to fill some frames.
The image is colored with Promarkers, I have deliberately colored the lady with grey and lilac to emphasize her macabre style.

Orange hearts

Hello everyone!
Ovedia Therese is dropping by again to share with a project with you.
This is the SLS LINES digital stamp I have used.
This is one of my favourites
and I have colored it in purple who is another of my favourites.

I decided to not color her hair because I felt that it would look more natural this way.
I have used Bazzill and Maja Designs - Vintage Spring Basic.
This diecut is Memory Box Twirled Heart Border Die.
Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Captain Hook!

Hi SLS Lines Fans!

Hope you are all getting some creative time into your days!

Today I am sharing a journal page using the Whimsical Pirate digi available at the Etsy Store!

Image coloured with copics and fussy cut.
Page background is left over pieces of pirate themed digital papers available from the Retrobox Collection Etsy Store - great vintage style!
I also added texture paste through stencils I cut on my Silhouette, some ink spray, bit of gesso and some other embellies to finish it off!

Keep checking back here for more DT inspiration plus remember to play along with our current challenge!!
