Xmas Postcard...

Hi Everyone

Sharon here again sharing some more xmas inspiration - this time something a little different!!!

I hosted a "postcard" swap and the theme was "non-traditional" xmas so I just could not resist using this "Calavera Girl" available at the SLS Lines Etsy Store along with the digital clip art xmas hats!!!

The image was printed on card and I added the hat - before printing of course LOL and I then coloured the image with copic markers (hat already coloured as it is clipart from SLS Lines)!!
I cut to postcard size and added a few layers of varnish to protect it in the post, added a postcard back, wrote a xmas message to my swap partner, added a stamp and posted off - real mail art!!! It arrived safely too!

Hope this may inspire you to think outside the box for xmas!!!

Hipster Girl

Here's a gorgeous stamp from SLS Lines today. I love this winter girl. I would totally wear a hat like that if I was out and about. In fact, I have a hat similar to that which my husband purchased for me except it's a cat instead of a teddy.  This fun stamp can be bought at the SLS Lines etsy store here, Hipster Girl.
Check out the current contest, it's at the SLS Lines Challenge blog is fall theme and will run through the 12th when the new challenge will begin.

Cheers, Holley

Aargh Humbug!!!!!!!!

Hello Fans!

Today I am sharing some super quick and easy Xmas Cards - you know Xmas is coming and I bet some of you are still not ready (truth be known neither am I - too busy working!!)

These cards are a bit of fun and use digi monster stamps and digital papers and clip art - ALL available at the store!

Here's some links for you to the items I have used:
AND these monsters are also available as a clipart set if you want some pre-coloured:
And the link for the little Xmas Hats & Digital papers:

No excuses to not be creating LOL!

I don't normally do CAS style - I always want to add things and then it's not really CAS but I think the little scary monsters with their added xmas hats are really enough for these cards!!

Remember to play along in our current challenge too - we always love to be inspired by you as well!

Happy creating for xmas.......

Au La Naturale......

Hi Everyone

Today for my inspiration post I am sharing a pocket letter I made for an "Aussie" Swap Group I am in - each month we have a theme and we get a partner and swap our pocket letters! This month the theme was "a la natural" so I wanted something that looked natural - colourwise and content so I couldn't resist the "Elf Girl" image and "Kraft Leaves and Flowers" Digital items available from the SLS Lines Etsy Store - all a perfect match for the "look" I wanted to achieve!

I used natural colours along with some soft natural greens, added matching washi tape to the spine with some twine. Hessian, skeleton leaves, muslin cloth, leaves and butterflies decorated the ATC's in the pockets. I coloured the digi Elf Girl with Copic markers, fussy cut her and adhered her to the front of the pockets.

Close ups of each row of pockets.

Top pockets:

Middle pockets:

Bottom pockets:

Here's the final creation with all the ATC's inside the pockets and also a pic of the goodies I put in the backs of each pocket for my partner!

Just love making pocket letters and sending them off and plenty of amazing images and digi clipart and papers at the store to play with!!

Happy Crafting!

Sharon :)

The base and easel were matted with Christmas paper from my stash...
