Monochrome done easy

My turn to give you some inspiration. Some might think that scrapping monochrome is difficult, but it can be done easy as well. That`s the idea about my card today.

We want you to make something monochrome this month at SLSLines Challenge Blog. You`ll find our challenge here..If you want to check out the image I`ve used, take a look here.

This is a quite easy card to make. The frame is made from a Spellbinder dies.Made paperlayers of two different tones of brown, brown flowers, brown halfbeads,a leftover ribbon and colored the cute image in different shades of brown.

Hope you like it ;)

Math Geek

Here's a hilarious image from SLS Scheibe of the SLS Lines called Math Geek.  You all know I was an electrical engineer in college, so I have taken so many math classes that I totally had to get this image.  TOO funny.  I created this hilarious sentiment, perhaps only math geeks get it, "My girlfriend is like the square root of -1...she's imaginary."

Then I had to decorate the card with a bunch of -1 button themes.  Hope my brother likes it, he was a math major in college.  Check out SLS Lines other fun images at her Etsy store, there's everything from quirky images like this to beautiful fairies.

Love Yourself...........

Hi Everyone

Well yet again I have another "nude" image to promote for SLS Lines!!! Now you can find the "nude" images in the Colouring Book/Adult part of the SLS Lines Etsy Store - a few are available as individual designs but this one I am using today - this beautiful curvaceous woman - is only available as part of a colouring book. You never know maybe if you "petition" SLS Lines she might come up as an individual image to purchase!!!!

Now you may know because I have used and mentioned before that the SLS Lines store also sells patterned digital papers - which I love - and the background of this journal page is from the pack of "Wood Digital Paper with Rustic Texture" - a beautiful range to use as background papers or layers or for an old aged wood look to your creations!

I scraped some Gesso over the paper background and added some soft pink & green Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays plus some washi tape and sprayed muslin for added texture to mount the image, Tim Holtz ticket, butterfly and scrabble letters on.

I'm really happy with this page.

Make sure you check out our current challenge and of course the Etsy Store for all the amazing designs, patterned papers and collage images!

Happy crafting!

Inspirational Post by Susan R

Hi there...Susan R here!
I have two inspiration posts for you this month using  SLSLines images - this is the first...

This time I wanted to use Goth Girl with Fish Balloon

It made me think of the nursery rhyme 1, 2, 3, 4, 5...Once I caught a fish alive...

I coloured the image with Promarkers, trimmed it and then distressed it with 'antique linen'.
I matted this onto a snippet from my scraps...

Then I added some tiny googly eyes and sticky numbers.

Watch out for my second September Inspiration using
