I have two inspiration posts for you this month using  SLSLines images - this is the first...

This time I wanted to use Goth Girl with Fish Balloon

It made me think of the nursery rhyme 1, 2, 3, 4, 5...Once I caught a fish alive...

I coloured the image with Promarkers, trimmed it and then distressed it with 'antique linen'.

I matted this onto a snippet from my scraps...

Then I added some tiny googly eyes and sticky numbers.

Christmas Zombie Head - Crafting Vicky

Well my timing couldn't be more wrong.... it's super nice here actually still looking like SUMMER which technically it is!  But there are some Christmas stuff popping up here and there... and I'm totally well feeling like this card... so maybe actually my timing is right lol.  I mean... why would you have Christmas stuff out before Halloween is even beginning?!?  Or fall?!? man.... weird times.  Anyway I'm here to share my make with the precolored image that comes with the set  Christmas Zombie Head.  I really love how this is colored and it was just perfect for a fast and fun card for some of my more dark crafty friends for this upcoming Christmas :).

I found some paper in my Christmas stash that didn't look too Christmasy and I'm really loving how this turned out!

Here's a great image from SLS Scheibe today she's called Book Lover.  There's currently an Anything Goes crafting contest over on the Your Scrapbook Place Challenge blog and being sponsored  by SLS Lines.  I am using this beautiful image from her store (click here).   I added a great sentiment from author Stephen King, "Books are a uniquely portable magic."

Drop by over at the Challenge blog and check out their design team's cards and then share some of your artwork for the contest.  You will get a bonus entry in the drawing if you use an SLS Lines image.  There's also an SLS Lines challenge going on at our own SLS Lines Challenge blog, so you can play in both challenges!

Lisa Tyrell Inspirational Post

For those that don't know, I have joined the 'SLS Lines' Design Team. Today see's my first inspirational post for them........

For the inspirational posts, we can pick any image we like and make something with it to inspire others to make and hopefully join in with our current challenges etc....

I looked long and hard through the images and had to choose the image that related most to me and that was........Lazy Cat lol lol

So onto what I have made...... Here you gooooooooooo

The card base is from Hunkydory and was embossed with an A4 embossing folder. 

The image is coloured with spectrum noir pencils

The papers are from my stash, as is the sentiment. 

The blue and green embellishments are nail heads.
