Inspiration from Susan R

Hi it's Susan R here again with another inspiration for you...

Today I chose to use the  Elf Girl image in the Etsy Store.

I decided again to make a tag...

For the base and matting layer I used papers from my scraps. I coloured the image with Promarkers and cut it out with a nesting die. I used Antique Linen to distress the layers.
I added some webby ribbon and a bit of sparkle in the eyelet.

Challenge #10 Use Die Cuts or Punches

Welcome to a brand new challenge at SLS Lines! We were thrilled to see so many more entries last time and we will discuss and debate and post our winners in a few days time, so make sure you come back to see!

GUEST DT SPOTS!

Would you like to be a guest designer for us here at SLS Lines?! If so, pop your entry in this month's challenge and add 'GDT' to your name. Maybe mention in your post that you'd like to guest here too. There's nothing too strenuous, a project for the next challenge and maybe one or two other projects if you are willing!

This month, the theme is Anything Goes Using Die Cuts.  Feel free to use metal dies, punches, mechanical cutting machines - however you like to craft!

Our team have been playing with some of the gorgeous SLS Lines images and have some inspiration for you below.

First up today, we have our very first Guest Designer. The incredibly talented Sari Aavamaki has joined us this month and you will see more from her in a few weeks. Here is her card using Goth Marie Antoinette. Please check out Sari's blog and leave her some love for this gorgeous project.

And now for our design team projects

Floral Vintage Tags

Hi Everyone!

Sharon here sharing some SLS Lines "Inspiration"!

How many of you knew that besides Digital Stamps the SLS Lines Etsy Store has some gorgeous Digital Patterned Papers and fantastic Collage Images?????

Well today I am sharing two journal pages using some of the designs from the "Vintage Floral Tags" Set - just love them! Of course how could I resist "teaming" them with a couple of the SLS Lines "nudes" from the Adult Colouring Book also available at the store!

This first page was done in my mini journal and uses the "Dream" tag as the background to which I added some muslin stained with Distress Ink and one of the tasteful "nudes" available in the Adult Pin Up Girls Colouring book which you can find "here" at the store!

This next page is one of my larger journals using yet again another "nude" and two more of the vintage tags. I covered the whole page with an old book page which I distressed and added a floral stamp to and then the tags, muslin, gold charm and little sticker gems!

Hope you are inspired to try some of the other items in the store - let's see how you can combine the digi images with the papers and collage images!!!

Remember to check out our current challenge and link up your creations for a chance to win some images from the store!

Until next time!

Rebel Kitty

Check out this awesome stamp from artist Sal Scheibe.  This image comes from SLS Lines and is called rebel kitty.  How fun is that? I just love that mouse sitting above the skull on there. Did you notice that it's a big wheel?  ha!  It just makes me laugh.  too cute.

Drop by the SLS Blog and check out the latest creations and then join in our challenge on the blog, Challenge 9 Anything Goes with a Twist of Fantasy.  Share your creations with us for a chance to win.

Cheers, Holley
