A Vintage Beauty....

Sharon here again sharing another "nude" digi creation as inspiration for you today!
This gorgeous pin-up gal is available to purchase in the Etsy Store - click here for direct link. I just love colouring these beautiful pin-ups and they are so tastefully drawn.

I used texture paste and a homemade stencil to add some depth to the background of my journal page. And the beautiful pastel colouring is from my new "Lindy's Stamp Gang" Flat Fabio Sprays - aren't they beautiful? While the texture paste was wet I added some little pearl coloured beads to the page for more interest as well as adding some subtle circles with a spray cap.

Quote was found at the Quote Garden Site - my favourite site for finding the perfect quote/saying to go with my creations!

Hope you found a bit of inspiration!

Happy crafting & don't forget our Current Challenge is Anything Goes - we would love to see your SLS Lines creations!!!

Bella Journal Page

Hi Everyone!

Sharon here with an "inspiration" post for you to start the month off with a little "daring"!!!

A few months ago I shared another "nude" image available at the store and I hadn't used this gorgeous gal so a perfect excuse to create something a little "risqué" for my post today!

Remember you can purchase 2 of the nude images from the store or if you want the set the "colouring book" is available for you to nab!!!
Lots of wonderful & tasteful ladies to create with!

These days I tend to do more creating on my journals than anything else - it allows me to experiment more with mixed media.

This page uses some of "Tim Holtz's " Tissue paper as the background - really love this design! I did a bit of a wash over it with thinned down acrylic paint, "spotted" the page with black paint and then added the digi which I coloured with Copic Markers. I also cut the "Bella" wording from my Silhouette and added to the bottom of the page. It's a bit hard to see but she is "sitting" on a piece of black mesh netting just to finish the page off!

Make sure you are a follower at the Etsy Store so you can keep up to date with all the wonderful and inspiring new images and also here at the Blog where the DT share their creations!!

Happy Creating!!

Tired mom and pretty girl :)

Hello.

Today I have a new card for you :) On the front side I have used 'Tired mom' and on the back side I have used 'Pretty girl'.

Do also remember to join the challenge at SLS this month - you still have some time :)

April inspiration from Susan R...

Hi it's Susan R here again with another inspiration for you...

Look at this great Jester image in the Etsy Store.

A Jester is a professional clown employed to entertain a king or nobleman in the middle ages. Also referred to as a fool, buffoon or clown. The Medieval jesters of the Middle Ages can be compared to the circus clowns of today.

As it is All Fools' Day today I thought I would use this 'fool' on a tag

There are more details on my blog here

Hope it will inspire you to join in the latest Challenge...

Happy Crafting!
